Organic Chili Flakes

The most extensively cultivated species of Capsicum, Capsicum annuum peppers are actually fruits that range in color from green, yellow, orange, and red when ripe. Beside color, the fruits can also vary in heat level and size. Chili flakes are coarsely ground from whole red chili peppers and have a mild to medium heat. Their culinary uses are both popular and diverse and they can be added to almost any meal in need of some heat. Chili flakes can also be infused into herbal oils for topical use.
